Brian Dona, PT
Vice President of Operations, Physical Therapist
Brian has been a practicing PT for over 10 years. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998. Brian is an experienced outpatient clinician with a wide range of knowledge within all patient types from geriatrics to sports medicine to pediatrics. Brian enjoys returning patients quickly to their prior level of function or to an even better lifestyle than the patient ever even knew they could attain.
Megan Poletto, MS, DPT
Vice President of New Operations, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Megan has been a practicing physical therapist for over 7 years. She has extensive experience in the areas of orthopedics, aquatics, geriatrics and sports medicine. She has been a member of the NEPT team since March 2000, where she has served as a clinician, a clinic manager, the Director of Clinics, and most recently the VP of Outsourced Operations.
Megan's academic credentials include a BS in Health Science and an MS in Physical Therarpy from Boston University. In May 2003, Megan received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Boston University. Megan has been heard as the on-air physical therapist on 1510AM "The Zone" with Eddie Andelman. With Eddie, Megan organized and participated in NEPT's involvement in a national fundraiser for cystic fibrosis. Megan has recently completed post-doctoral studies at the McKenzie Institute in Wellington, New Zealand. In addition, she completed a 6-month sabbatical in Masterton, New Zealand, working as the lead physical therapist with semi-professional rugby players. Megan is currently the treating therapist at Dorchester House, our Dorchester clinic.
Alicia Juaire Cabral, MSPT
Physical Therapist, Clinic Manager Quincy
Alicia graduated from Bridgewater State College in 2003 with a BS in Medical Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued a MS in Physical Therapy at the University of Rhode Island until 2006. Alicia performed internships at Rhode Island Hospital in both the Neurological Inpatient Unit and the Outpatient Pediatric Department. Alicia has over 10 years of participation in competitive sports and coaching. She enjoys integrating all of those experiences in to her treatments by using a functional & sports specific approach while incorporating manual skills to meet the patients’ personal goals and needs.
Laura Hurley, MSPT,CSCS, CEAS
Physical Therapist, Quincy
Laura is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts earning an MS/Physical Therapy in 1999 and a BS/Exercise Physiology in 1996. She obtained certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the prestigious National Strength and Conditioning Association with 30 years experience training in Health and Fitness. Laura is also a Certified Ergonomic Analysis Specialist, restoring and promoting postural awareness and proper body mechanics. Laura uses her passion for sports and running, after completing over 10 Marathons, to treat orthopedic and sports related injuries. Laura’s energetic spirit motivates her patients to use exercise to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and lifetime fitness.
Christin Ernst PT, DPT, TPI CGFI/CMP
Clinic Manager Dorchester, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Titleist Medical Professional
Christin has been practicing physical therapy for over 5 years, specializing in spinal rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation/performance, and general orthopedics. Christin graduated from Springfield College with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Orthopedics and completed her doctorate education at Boston University. Christin trained with the
professionals at the Titleist Performance Institute and is a certified Titleist Golf Fitness and Medical Professional. She believes that education is endless and continues to master new techniques to most effectively treat her patients. She joins NEPT plus as director of the Dorchester clinic.
Ben Simaitis, MSPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist, Dorchester Clinic
Certified Strength and Conditioning SpecialistBen is the newest addition to the Dorchester clinic. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2008 with a BS in Pre-Physical Therapy and in 2009 with an MS in Physical Therapy. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2008. Ben has played competitive baseball through college. In addition, Ben is an avid runner, and just completed the Cape Cod Marathon in October 2008
Sunshine Nodine, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy
Sunshine has been practicing physical therapy in the Boston area for the past 2 years. She graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. She later received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. Sunshine has clinical experience from a variety of settings in South Carolina, Tennessee and Arizona. Her clinical interests include manual therapy to treat low back pain, as well as orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Sunshine is currently the Clinic Manager of the NEPT Plus Malden Clinic.
Matt Houle, BSPTA
Physical Therapy Assistant, Malden
Matt has been with N.E. Physical Therapy Plus for ten years, and is currently a treating therapist in our Malden location. He graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In 1997, after working in the Psych setting for six years Matt attained his Associates in Physical Therapy from Springfield Technical College. In these ten years Matt has worked in a variety of Physical Therapy settings: from long-term, sub acute, outpatient and home care. In addition Matt has been a personal trainer for private clients, having received his Weight Trainer Certification in 2001.
Jill Thibault, PT

Jill graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She has also earned the credential of Certified Weight Trainer by the International Weightlifting Association. She has had experience in multiple settings from acute care to long-term care. Jill enjoys working in the outpatient setting where she can incorporate her interests in orthopedics and sports injuries. She has been employed with N.E. Physical Therapy Plus for over six years and she is currently the physical therapist and clinic manager of our Stoughton facility.
Anisha Patel, PT
Clinic Manager Hyde Park, Physical Therapist
Anisha has been working for N.E. Physical Therapy Plus since March of 2007, serving as the clinic manager for our Hyde Park location. She completed her Bachelors Degree with Honors in Human Kinetics at The University of Ottawa, and earned her Physical Therapy degree at Mc Gill University in Montreal. Anisha comes to us with a wide variety of clinical experiences, having most recently worked as a staff therapist at a local sub-acute rehabilitation hospital where she served as a clinical instructor and mentor to Physical Therapy students from around the country. Anisha is excited to be working in an out-patient setting where she can incorporate her interests in sports injuries and fitness.

Luke has been practicing physical therapy professionally for the past 3 years, specializing in manual therapy and workers compensation injuries. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Pre-Physical Therapy and a Masters of Physical Therapy. Luke is currently pursuing certification in Manual Therapy and values continuing his education in order to better serve his patients. In 2005, he traveled to rural Mandeville, Jamaica to provide physical therapy treatment to the locate children living in poverty stricken areas with very limited access healthcare. Luke is currently a manager at our Raynham clinic.
Leah Hallemann, PTA

Leah has been a PTA for 10 years specializing in outpatient orthopedic care. She graduated from Sanford Brown College in 1999 and has a BS in Recreation/ Fitness and Exercise Science minor from Southeast Missouri State University. Physical fitness and sports have always played a major role in Leah’s life and she enjoys helping her patients reach their physical goals, whether they are for recovering from surgery, returning to athletic competition, or participating in everyday life to the fullest.
